Squarespace exposes a site-wide header field in its Code Injection panel. As documented on 19 September 2026, code injection is available on Core, Plus, Advanced and some legacy billing plans, and checkout pages do not support it. Paste the runtime in the header, publish, and verify every surface that remains in scope.

Use one visible source of choice
Squarespace has a built-in cookie banner and integrations that consult its state. Decide which system presents the choice, disable any duplicate interface, and document how the remaining system controls each Squarespace and custom integration.
Squarespace documents that enabling its banner disables or restricts some connected services, but not all, and that injected Google services require additional integration steps. Treat the platform banner as one control in the data flow, then test the actual requests and storage produced by analytics, embeds and injected code.
Common questions
Does code injection apply to every page?
The header injection is site-wide. Individual pages can have their own injection, and store or member pages can behave differently, so verify with a scan rather than assuming.

A browser scan reports the requests and storage it observed during the sampled journey. Use configured workspace scans to compare the states and pages that matter to your implementation.
